Brown Dog TickBush TickParalysis Tick

  • The tick that's most dangerous to dogs in Australia is the Paralysis tick
  • After attaching to the skin and feeding on blood, it injects a toxin that affects the dog's nervous system, causing paralysis and even death if not treated in time
  • Brown Dog ticks can also be harmful to dogs, causing skin irritation and anaemia with heavy infestations
  • For peace of mind, check your dog regularly for ticks and use monthly tick protection, all year round
